26 Aug Blackbird Military Veteran and the Puppy Jake Foundation
In honor of National Dog Day, we wanted to share a little bit about our favorite employee, Bucky. Bucky is a service dog from the Puppy Jake Foundation, who tags along with Building Specialist and Military Veteran, Marc Helm. Puppy Jake Foundation is dedicated to helping veterans through the assistance of well-bred, socialized and professionally trained service dogs. They select, train and place only the best-performing dogs with these deserving men and women. Service dogs can perform tasks, improve mobility, and provide unconditional love. Marc and the rest of the team at Blackbird have enjoyed having Bucky here and we are grateful for this amazing Des Moines-based foundation.
