29 Oct Fort Des Moines project receives two national awards
Fort Des Moines Living has just received two national awards regarding its community impact and architectural work. The first award is the AIA Central Regions Award for Historic Preservation. This award is presented to one project throughout the entire Midwest exemplifying the highest standard of design work.
The second award was the 2019 Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits Historic Rehabilitation Award for HTC Residential Development that Best Exemplifies Major Community Impact. This project utilized the largest amount of tax credits in the state of Iowa, providing an end result of 142 affordable housing opportunities to low-income families and the preservation of a National Historic Landmark.
